Product Description
1. SMECTA®, powder for oral suspension; an antidiarrheal gastro-intestinal protectant.
2. SMECTA® is indicated in the treatment of diarrhoea and of painful symptoms associated with oesophageal-gastric and intestinal diseases.
3. Orange & Vanilla Flavour.
4. Direction for Use:
* Oral Route:
- Over 2 years : 2 to 3 sachets per day
5. Mixed with half a glass of water. In case of acute diarrhea, the daily dosage can be doubled at the beginning of treatment.
6. Avoid use of Smecta® in infants and children aged below 2 years old. The reference treatment in acute diarrhoea is oral rehydration salts (ORS).
7. Smecta® is not recommended in pregnant or lactating women.
