In this module, the readers will be exposed to several basic statistical analyses using SPSS statistical software. The statistical analyses included in this module are both parametric and nonparametric methods such as independence and paired t tests, one-way and two-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Chi-Square test, Mann-Whitney U test, and Sign test. The aim of this module is to guide readers in using SPSS to perform the calculation involved in solving statistics problems and to understand and interpret the results of a chosen statistical analysis presented as computer output. This module also includes exercises (hands-on tutorials) in each section along with suggested answers. It is hoped that this module will benefit to all readers in performing basic statistical analyses using SPSS.
