The contact stop is an electrical installation material that serves as a connecting pearl between electric currents and electrical appliances. Below is a picture of the out bow contact stop that is installled outside the through (not grown inside the wall) and has several plugs so it is often called terminals. 

Contact stop, partially said outlet, is an electrical component that works as the pearl of the relationship between electrical appliances and electrical flow. So that the power tool is connected with a contact stop, then the cable and plug or plug or plug that will later be inserted on the contact stop.

Based on its shape as well as function, the contact stop is differentiated into two kinds, namely:
- Small contact stop, is a contact stop with two holes (canal) that serves to channel power at low power through plugs that are also small types.

- Large contact stop, also is a contact stop with two air conditioning canals equipped with metal plate on the upper and bottom sides of the air conditioning canal that serves as ground.this type of switch is usually used for greater power.

While based on the installlation place. Known two kinds of contact stops, i.e.:
- In bow contact stop, is a wall mounted contact stop.
- Out bow contact stop, which is mounted outside the wall or simply placed the surface of the wall at the time it serves as a portable contact stop.
