white sesame seeds are the same type as the tan/brown ones, they just have their hulls removed. The black sesame seed is actually a completely different variety. I tried growing them before, but they aren't easy to grow in my climate. I like to include black sesame seeds in my sesame ginger dressing.

Black sesame seeds are rich in healthy omega 3 fatty acids, that can lubricate the intestinal walls and help with constipation. The seeds are also rich in fibre, that can improve bowel movements. Thus, having black sesame seeds protect the digestive system from various issues.
