Product Description

A trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peel is designed to remove the damaged surface layer of your skin and remove imperfections such as: ✔️Age spots ✔️Fine wrinkles ✔️Rough skin ✔️Freckles ✔️Sun-damaged skin These unsightly problems are on the top layer of skin. A TCA chemical peel removes that layer and stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin, leaving your face looking brighter and younger. There is a course of treatment for each type of skin. Usually, younger people only need one or two treatments for clear skin and older people need about four treatments. One week of healing is required between each treatment. Your skin will be slightly red right after treatment and especially vulnerable to sunlight. The damaged skin starts to peel away after about three days and continues for up to seven days. During this time, you shouldn’t pick or pull at the skin. This could cause scarring. You can start wearing your usual makeup after all of the dark, surface skin has peeled away. Once the specialist selects the right combination of chemicals for your skin type and condition, he or she will apply the chemical with a sponge, cotton swab, cotton pad, or brush depending on the area being peeled. Along with the face, the neck, hands, arms, and décolletage can be peeled. If you have any of the following symptoms, you may be a good candidate for a TCA chemical peel: ✔️Sun-damaged facial skin ✔️Crow’s feet around the eyes ✔️Wrinkles around the mouth that cause lipstick bleed ✔️Brown spots ✔️Chickenpox and other superficial scars You may need to prepare your skin in advance of your treatment. This preparation will help the peel be more successful by allowing for deeper penetration and faster recovery. You may be asked to use Retin-A, bleaching agents, and glycolic acid in combination for up to six weeks before the peel. We may also recommend that you use sunscreen and stay out of direct sunlight during the weeks before a peel treatment.
