Sculpey is a brand of polymer clay made by Polyform products in the United States. They sell items ranging from a variety of polymer clay, tools and accessories to start crafting! Premo Sculpey clay is soft enough to blend easily but firm enough to hold fine detail and for specialized techniques. Premo retains flexibility and for more durable pieces, I suggest premo Sculpey as the finished product remains very strong and durable. Please bake your clay according to the packaging recommendations. Premo Sculpey: Bake at 130 °C (275 °F) for 30 minutes per 1/4 in (6 mm) thickness. Bake in oven only, DO NOT MICROWAVE. It is encouraged to get an oven thermometer to check the temperature of your oven as sometimes the oven temperature may not be accurate. Underbaking results in the clay crumbling, and overbaking can result in burning the clay, which releases toxic hydrochloric gas fumes as the plasticizer molecules are removed via heating. I suggest to bake outside as there are some unpleasant fumes. Note: - Work on a clean surface to avoid dust on your clay. - Polymer clay is safe for kids to build up their motor skills. - Once baked, the clay is hard, waterproof and slightly flexible. - Raw polymer clay will not dry if left exposed in room temperature but is advised to keep your raw clay sealed in the original plastic packaging if unused or in a container (I recommend Polypropylene a.k.a. PP plastic because polymer clay can eat up other kind of plastics. It’s weird, I know. PP plastic can be found in Daiso) to prolong the shelf life. - If your clay gets a little bit too tough to work with, you can get the clay softener (insert link) and it will be soft enough to use again. - I personally recommend to buy more white to control the saturation of your shade. White is very important. - The actual colour and packaging of the items may differ from the image. You can make things like figurines, hair accessories, earrings, necklace, charms and magnets.
