This TV HAT add-on board receives digital TV channels and let your Raspberry Pi stream them over a network to other devices like a smart TV, mobile phone, tablet or a PC. This HAT supports the common DVB-T2 and DVB-T standards which are widely used in most countries. It can be used with any 40-pin Raspberry Pi boards such as Pi 3B+, Pi 3B, Pi 3A+, Pi 2 and Pi Zero WH. Pi 3B+ is highly recommended if you are watching TV on the Pi itself. You will need a UHF digital TV antenna and connect it to the RF connector on the HAT. Looking at the software side, you can install tvheadend - an open source TV server which supports Electronic Program Guide (EPG) and Digital Video Recorder (DVR). You can use any media player software that supports TV streaming over a network. This includes Kodi, Flex and VLC.
