It is a flexible waterproofing seal in all conditions of exposure. ● PENTENS SEAL should not be used on unprotected traffic surfaces as they may be susceptible to damage, except for roof areas that are subject to occasional maintenance access only. Uses: PENTENS SEAL is a general purpose sealing and flashing strip for weather resistance and waterproofing that is widely used in building construction and maintenance work. Available in a range of roll width from 50 mm to 300 mm. PENTENS SEAL consists of a self-adhesive polymer-modified bitumen strip face with a matt grey vinyl finish aluminum foil. It adheres permanently to most building substrates and is easy to handle and shaped as required on site. PENTENS SEAL can be easily cut to convenient lengths or shaped with a sharp knife. Once the backing paper has been removed, PENTENS SEAL must have a side overlap of a minimum of 10mm and the end overlap 25mm. PENTENS SEAL can be dressed into different angles and curves. However, care must be taken to avoid puncturing the material with sharp objects or damage from foot traffic.
