This software remotely controls most functions of Nikon digital SLRs from a computer that is connected via USB cable or through wired or wireless LAN using a wireless transmitter. Advanced functions of the new Nikon D3 and D300 such as Viewer for preview and selection of images prior to transfer to a computer, Liveview function and Picture Control System are supported.
It also supports workflows of Nikon's exclusive photofinishing software Capture NX (optional) and browser and viewer software ViewNX.
Nikon Camera Control 2020 has been equipped with a very intuitive and user friendly interface which comprises of all the settings which you have in camera menu including simulated LCD panel displaying memory amount. This program can be used for making the capturing adjustment on the computer screen as you would do on the camera. It also allows you to change the exposure level and mode, you can also adjust the shutter speed, aperture and various other settings. It has got Live View mode which displays the real time preview of final photo look through the object lens directly onto the computer monitor. The captured photos are transferred to the hard drive instead of the camera memory card. All in all Nikon Camera Control 2020 is an imposing remote camera control application that is compatible with various different models of Nikon devices letting the owners to configure the camera settings.
