Product Description

Comet Domestic Gas Regulator A Complete Range Zippy regulators for butane and propane can be installed on all LPG cylinders equipped with an automatic valve. The Zippy range offers a wide choice of outlet connections, pressures and safety devices to satisfy specific requirements. These regulators can also be personalised upon request: colour, markings, Logo... therefore they can be adapted to customer and local market requirements. Reinforced Safety Features Excess flow safety The gas flow is automatically cut off if the hose is accidentally or purposely disconnected. The reset can be manual or automatic. Assembly safety The mounting or dismanting of the regulator onto the valve cannot be accomplished if the handle is not set at the bottom, in "free" position. Reinforced diaphragm For a better resistance to overpressure, the diaphragm is reinforced with polyamide fabric. Thermal safety In the case of fire and the sharp rise in temperature around the regulator, the thermal safety device is automatically activated, cutting off the flow of gas from the cylinder valve. Safety by shut-off valve Positioned inside of the regulator, the valve reinforces the main tightness made by the cylinder valve. New Design With the automatic valve system, in one simple hand movement, the Zippy can be "clipped on" or "clipped off". A large handle allows the user to "switch on" and "switch off" the gas flow. The handle's position indicates clearly and simply if the gas flow is open or closed. Application Used for LPG cylinders with automatic connecting valve. The Zippy regulators with fixed outlet pressure are used in applications up to 1.5 kg/h (71kBTU/hr). They are intended to be used as single stage regulators for low pressure domestic gas appliances (stoves, cookers, cabinet heaters, patio heaters, BBQ..) The Zippy regulators with variable outlet pressure are used in applications up to 2 kg/h (95kBTU/hr) they are intended to be used for heating purposes with adjustable power appliances.
