Important information !!!! regarding identification by measuring BSP (British Standard Pipe Thread) fittings. The measurements are not as straightforward as you may think.
Example for instance the outside diameter of a 1/2" male fitting thread is approximate 21mm, not 15mm. 1" fitting actual OD is Approximate 33mm, not 25mm.
You should refer to the following chart and check dimensions to correctly identify the fitting you require.
